Mode of Action (MoA) AlphaFold 3 predicts a direct interaction between Cas8a1 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/protein/WWV39459.1) and AcrIB4 (ipTM = 0.91, pTM = 0.76).
Evidence Binding it supported by computational structure modeling evidence (ECO_0006368).Ectopic expression of AcrIB4 (ECO_0000017) abolished interference against target plasmid. Expression of AcrIB4 blocks CRISPR interference. AcrIB4 did not disrupt Cascade assembly (immunoprecipitation).
