|
Ectopic expression (ECO_0000017) of AcrIF15 increased the plating efficiency of phages that are normally targeted by active type I-F CRISPR–Cas systems. Binding it supported by computational structure modeling evidence (ECO_0006368). Prevents CRISPRi, indicating inhibition occurs upstream of DNA binding.
