Overview

Mode of Action (MoA) binds to Cascade, the RNA-guided Csy complex, blocking DNA binding.
Evidence AcrF4 (gene 30) was cloned from phage D3112 and shown to counteract CRISPR immunity in P. aeruginosa. Plasmid expression of AcrF4 in PA14 enhanced replication of CRISPR-sensitive phages (ECO_0000017).
