Overview

Mode of Action (MoA) binds to the Csy spiral backbone, occupying the cavity surrounded by Cas5f, Cas7.4–7.6f, and Cas8f, to prevent DNA hybridisation.
Evidence Ectopic expression (ECO_0000017) of AcrIF8 in Pseudomonas aeruginosa resulted in inhibition of type I-F CRISPR-Cas system activity, as demonstrated by restored replication of CRISPR-targeted bacteriophages in plaque assays.
