Overview

Mode of Action (MoA) binds to the Riemerella anatipestifer Cas13b.
Evidence Ectopic expression (ECO_0000017) of AcrVIB1 abolishes Cas13b interference in bacterial plasmid transformation and phage infection assays. Cell-free TXTL assays show potent inhibition of Cas13b RNA cleavage activity (ECO_0006064). Timing experiments indicate inhibition occurs upstream of ribonucleoprotein complex formation (AcrVIB1 is most effective when added before RNP (Cas13b:gRNA) complex formation).
