Overview

Mode of Action (MoA) binds to the Lon protease, which degrage some antitoxins
Evidence PinA inhibits ATP-dependent degradation of casein by Lon protease, as measured by the release of trichloroacetic acid-soluble peptides from [³H]-labeled casein. PinA forms a stable complex with Lon, shown by co-elution during gel filtration chromatography (ECO_0001049).
